Historic Charleston and Chase

Chase still had to muster this morning so we agreed to meet up later. The Navy doesn't make things easy on families, you never know when to expect them to be done. Could be a half hour could be all day.

Kurt and I went to Junction Kitchen and Provisions for breakfast this morning after a pretty good nights sleep. I had a sausage egg croissant with hashbrowns, it was okay. Nothing too exciting. After breakfast we ran to the store for some waters, soda, and hairspray (I forgot mine...).

Brought the groceries back to the house and hung out for a bit. Hadn't heard from Chase so we decided to head downtown. Of course just as we were parking Chase called. He had just gotten back to his apartment. He had to get a haircut and work on his uniform for graduation so we decided to hang out downtown for a bit and he we would meet with him for a late lunch.

We just wandered our way around. I love this city! The architecture is so cool. I could wander for hours but we had to meet with Chase. So just walked a bit and went to CIty Market. Got some chocolate, Byrd's cookies, and a new sweatshirt (really don't need a sweatshirt but I really liked it...).

After our shopping we called Chase and he was about ready to go, just wanted to take a shower so decided to meet up with him back at our airbnb. Decided sit outside while we waited for Chase so Kurt could have a cigar and it was beautiful out.
Finally got to see Chase! He got to the house and we sat outside and chatted a bit as we decided where to go to eat. He chose the Tattooed Moose. We had gone here the last time we were here. Chase had the Duck Club, I had to Southern Fried Chicken Sandwich (fried chicken with pimento cheese), and Kurt the Smoked Philly (without the onions and peppers of course).  All was delicious!
After lupper we walked around Park Circle for a bit - found a cute little book store and made Kurt buy a book and a record store but Kurt thought it would be too hard to get home so no purchases. Made our way back to the house and played some pool in the game room. Shockingly - I won! Then a couple games of Uno Flip - I didn't win...

Hung out for just a bit and Chase headed back to his apartment and Kurt and I watched a movie (well Kurt watched and I wrote my blog...).
